Pure premium Lucerne/Alfalfa chop in compressed disc form. An alternative to hay/chopped grass for small herbivores. convenient to store and can help to prevent boredom. Adult rabbits/guinea pigs can be fed 1-2 discs per week as a healthy treat. Young growing and elderly animals can be fed Alfalfabix as a replacement/change to alfalfa hay/or a refreshing change from other forages. Feed alongside other daily forages and foods and a fresh supply of fresh water should always be available. Store in a cool, dry environment.
As this is a large sack of compressed Forage discs some settling may occur and a powdery residue from the Alfalfa/Lucerne will be in the sack, this is normal and harmless which can be mixed into food or given in a seperate bowl on its own or mixed with herbs for example and given as a healthy treat. The broken/settled Alfalfa may also be useful to rabbits with dental problems.
